The big picture
Across 65 tracked sets in 6 games, the market is running hot — but the heat is concentrated. Pokemon and One Piece are driving most of the real signal. Many sets in MTG, Lorcana, and Flesh and Blood are still in "Warming up" status as our measurement pipeline collects more data.
Pokemon: 11 of 17 sets at BANGER
Pokemon is the hottest game right now by a wide margin. 11 of 17 sets are rated BANGER (Vibe Score 8 or above), meaning cards within each set are moving in strong coordination.
**BANGER sets (VS 8-10):** Surging Sparks (VS 10), Ascended Heroes, Evolving Skies, Phantasmal Flames, Journey Together, Prismatic Evolutions (all VS 9), Team Up, Mega Evolution, Temporal Forces, Twilight Masquerade, Paldean Fates (all VS 8).
**Warm sets (VS 5-7):** Perfect Order, Destined Rivals, SV 151, Shrouded Fable (VS 7), Fossil (VS 6).
Surging Sparks leads at VS 10 — the highest possible rating. When a modern set and a classic set like Evolving Skies are both showing BANGER simultaneously, it suggests the coordination is game-wide, not just a single release cycle.
One Piece: the split
Yesterday we noted that every active One Piece set was surging. That's no longer true.
**Still BANGER (VS 9-10):** Legacy of the Master, Carrying On His Will, Awakening of the New Era, Romance Dawn, A Fist of Divine Speed (all VS 10), The Azure Sea's Seven (VS 9).
**Now Quiet (VS 3-4):** Kingdoms of Intrigue, Pillars of Strength (VS 4), Paramount War (VS 3).
Six sets at BANGER, three at Quiet. The top of the game is still highly coordinated, but the older mid-range sets have dropped out. This kind of split — where newer and flagship sets hold while older sets go quiet — is a pattern worth watching.
MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and the rest
**MTG** has 8 of 13 sets still warming up (newly tracked, not enough data yet). Marvel Super Heroes is the only confirmed BANGER (VS 8). Stronghold, Urza's Saga, Commander Masters, and Foundations are all Quiet (VS 1-4).
**Yu-Gi-Oh!** has real signal in 4 sets: King of Games (VS 10), Justice Hunters (VS 8), Doom of Dimensions (VS 7), and Duelist's Advance (VS 6). Two sets still calibrating.
**Lorcana** — all 8 sets are still in Warming up status. Data is collecting; expect real scores within the next few days.
**Flesh and Blood** — same story for most sets. Heavy Hitters, Smash Palace, and 1st Strike show Quiet (VS 1), consistent with low liquidity.
What to watch
- **Pokemon breadth**: 11 BANGER sets is exceptional. Watch for whether this stays broad or concentrates into fewer sets. - **One Piece divergence**: The split between BANGER and Quiet within the same game is new. If the Quiet sets start rising again, the game-wide surge may resume. If they stay quiet, the market is picking favorites. - **Calibrating games**: Lorcana and FAB should start showing real Vibe Scores within the week as more snapshots accumulate.
Remember: Vibe Score measures coordination, not price direction. A set at VS 10 means cards are moving together — it doesn't tell you which direction. Check the actual listings before making any decisions.
